The sandals and espadrilles I design come from the awe inspiring places I have visited. Over the last few years I've spent many months travelling to some of the most beautiful places on earth. Each journey evokes colour, texture and atmosphere, from beaches with still blue waters to sunsets that set your soul on fire. I have danced in tropical rains and swam under waterfalls.

These are my inspirations. I want my footwear to leave a lasting impression in the sand, I want my footwear to accompany you on your journey.

People inspire me, holidays, hustle and bustle, colour, texture and the freedom to express who you want to be. I find solace in far away lands, where halcyon days are a temporary reality and where I leave city life behind. I wanted holiday footwear to be readily available, not seasonal. White beaches, tropical fruit, trips on boats, relaxing in a hammock, style, comfort, imagination and simplicity.

My venture into designing beachwear started eight years ago, I was working at a resort wear shop in Knightsbridge. I was captivated by the endless supply of all year round beach wear. It was something about the vibrancy and colour that led me to start designing bracelets. The more I travelled the more I wanted a bracelet to reflect my journey, each bracelet was imitating colours and places. They are a memory to me, a reflection of the beauty that surrounds us.

I love chasing summers, discovering different countries. Some places I could truly find peace and tranquility while others inspired neon colours and carnival. The connection with design and holiday inspiration reflects on the bracelets names.

It wasn't long before I started to add beach cover ups to my collection, then beach bags and finally the footwear. Every journey starts with an idea. I wanted to realise my dream and allow myself freedom to explore espadrilles and sandals. I want my footwear to be your footsteps in the sand, the beginning to your holiday adventure.
